Application form: 

Get the application form and fill it completely, making sure that all information is correct.

 

2 photographs:

A recent whole-face passport photograph with a light background. 

 

Your Passport and copies of previous visas:

Valid for at least 3 months beyond return. Passport must have two blank pages.

Travel health documents:

Confirmation that you are healthy enough to travel to the country.

 

A cover letter:

A letter stating the purpose of your travel to the country.

 

Flight Itinerary with dates and flight numbers specifying entry and exit from the country

Proof of sufficient financial means:

Proof of sufficient means of finance for the duration of stay in the country. As the European Commission communicates; a foreign national, according to the Icelandic Law for an Iceland Visa application, must attest owning an amount of subsistence of 4,000 ISK or 28.83€/day to the Icelandic Embassy or Consulate. While the amount of money required for each entry to the territory of Iceland is 20,000 ISK or 144.13€.

PS:  The Schengen zone includes the 26 countries that have signed the Schengen agreement, which allows citizens of member countries to travel within the zone freely, without passing through passport and border control.

Each member country of the Schengen zone can issue Schengen visas.

Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Liechtenstein.
